A guide to linking Twitter/Telegram to verify your account and increase rewards.

Link Twitter

Step 1: Go to Settings

[Profile] -> [Settings] -> [Verification]

Step 2: Click "Link Twitter"

Verification Options:
+- [ ] Twitter/X
+- [ ] Telegram
+- [Link Twitter]  <- Click

Step 3: Authorize SocialFi

Twitter/X will open:
+- "SocialFi Protocol wants to access your account"
+- Permissions:
   +- Read your profile
   +- Read your tweets
+- [Authorize app]  <- Click

Step 4: Select your Twitter account

If you have multiple accounts:

Verify with which account?
+- [@handle1] 100k followers
+- [@handle2] 50k followers  <- select this one
+- [@handle3] 10k followers

Step 5: Confirm

Confirm verification:
+- Twitter handle: @your_handle
+- Followers: 50,000
+- Account age: 3 years
+- Tweets: 5,000+
+- [CONFIRM VERIFICATION]

Done

Twitter verified!
+- Verified badge appears on your profile
+- +10% reward bonus activated
+- Followers can see "Verified Twitter"

Link Telegram

Step 1: Go to Settings

[Profile] -> [Settings] -> [Verification]

Step 2: Click "Link Telegram"

Verification Options:
+- [x] Twitter/X (already linked)
+- [ ] Telegram
+- [Link Telegram]  <- Click

Step 3: Open the Telegram Bot

SocialFi will open Telegram:
+- Bot: @SocialFiProtocolBot
+- Send: /verify

Step 4: Enter the verification code

The bot will send:

Your verification code: ABC123XYZ

1. Go to the SocialFi app
2. Paste the code into the input field
3. Click VERIFY

Back in the SocialFi app:

Verification code:
[ABC123XYZ]  <- Paste code here
[VERIFY]     <- Click

Step 5: Confirm

Confirm verification:
+- Telegram username: @your_telegram
+- Channel: SocialFi Verified
+- [CONFIRM]

Done

Telegram verified!
+- Verified badge appears on your profile
+- +5% reward bonus activated
+- Total bonus: +15% (if both Twitter and Telegram are linked)

Remove a link

If you want to remove a verification:

[Remove Twitter]
+- Are you sure?
+- Reward bonus will decrease by 10%
+- [CONFIRM REMOVE]

Note: Removing verification reduces your reward immediately.

Troubleshooting

"Verification failed"

Error: Twitter authorization did not complete
Solution:
   1. Log out of Twitter.com
   2. Log out of SocialFi
   3. Try linking again

"Twitter account suspended"

Error: Twitter account is locked
Solution:
   1. Appeal to Twitter support
   2. Once unsuspended, re-link your account
   3. Or link a different Twitter account

"Telegram code expired"

Error: Code expired (5-minute limit)
Solution:
   1. Run /verify again in the Telegram bot
   2. Paste the new code

"Verification badge not showing"

Error: Badge not yet updated
Solution:
   1. Refresh the page (F5)
   2. Log out and log back in
   3. Clear browser cache

Impact of Verification on Rewards

Example calculation

Alice has 1,000 followers

Scenario 1: Not verified
+- Base reward: 10 SOL/week
+- Bonus: 0%
+- TOTAL: 10 SOL

Scenario 2: Twitter verified
+- Base reward: 10 SOL/week
+- Twitter bonus: +10% = 1 SOL
+- TOTAL: 11 SOL

Scenario 3: Twitter + Telegram verified
+- Base reward: 10 SOL/week
+- Twitter bonus: +10% = 1 SOL
+- Telegram bonus: +5% = 0.5 SOL
+- TOTAL: 11.5 SOL

Extra earnings per month:
+- Twitter only: +4 SOL
+- Telegram only: +2 SOL
+- Both: +6 SOL
